Farmers Guardian Eastern Counties is a weekly regional farming newspaper sent free to the largest 6,500 arable farms in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and Lincolnshire. It is also available for sale on the news stand.
Launched in February 2004, it provides regional news, opinion, technical arable updates, rural features and market prices for growers in the eastern region, as well as carrying all the big national and international stories.
In addition, it reports on business advice, livestock updates and people making the news in the region.

The Economic Development Unit of Norfolk County Council plays an active role in the strategic development of Norfolk's economy. In particular, the Unit has taken the lead on a range of rural activities including the development of Norfolk Rural Business Advice Service, leading on the delivery of support to rural shops and post offices, and is actively supporting regeneration is market towns. The Unit also administers the ~2.6 million Rural Development Programme on behalf of the Shaping the Future Partnership. Norfolk County Council is supporting this event as part of its continued commitment to the agricultural and food sectors.
